2024 Zauberberg Pinot Noir
Named after the Zauberberg block on our estate, translated as "Magic Mountain" in
German, this steep, south facing block is where all the magic happens at High Pass.
This pale ruby Pinot Noir shows a youthful vibrancy in the glass. The nose offers
medium-intensity aromas of bright red cherry with warm clove spice. Subtle hints of
vanilla, cracked pepper, and a touch of cola add depth without overshadowing the
purity of fruit. Light-bodied and dry, the palate is vibrant and finely textured, with juicy
cherry and clove framed by medium tannins and bright acidity. All elements work in
harmony, creating a poised, balanced wine that carries through to a smooth finish
creating a wine that will age well. 100% Pommard clone.
